Description
Traditionally used for cooking or storing food, water, clothing, or ceremonial objects, bentwood boxes are a technology unique to cultures of the Pacific Northwest. All four sides are made of a single piece of wood that is carefully steam bent around a tightly fitted base and held together with wooden pegs.
